Vane Hill residents share their January Activities…

Dartmoor

Vane Hill kick-started their January activities with a 5-mile walk along Dartmoor. Residents were able to clear out the cobwebs with a gentle walk in nature and a picnic on the moors.

Nursing Students from Cavan Institute, Ireland

The residents also welcomed two nursing students, Lauren and April, from the Cavan institute, Ireland. Spending two weeks at Vane Hill getting to know the residents, joining in on activities, sharing stories and teaching the residents some Irish names,

“which were very hard to pronounce!”

Helping out a neighbour

Residents Brennan, Sid & Richard like to help out in their local community. This time it was their neighbour, Tanya. They helped her move logs from the woods and stack them in her garden.
